Your Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll play an essential part in creating positive outcomes for children and young people by:

  • Providing tailored care and emotional support
  • Building trusting, meaningful relationships with young people and their families
  • Responding to challenging behaviours using calm, therapeutic approaches
  • Working closely with other professionals to ensure the highest quality care
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and life skills
  • Following and contributing to personalised care plans
  • Supporting young people with appointments, education, and recreational activities
  • Keeping accurate records and safeguarding the child’s wellbeing

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for compassionate Support Workers who have the following skills and experience:

  • 6–12 months of paid UK experience in a similar support role
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour
  • A caring, compassionate, and patient attitude
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility and reliability – able to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights), including weekends
  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce)
